There can be equity value in a franchise if it is well branded and thus recognised and desired by customers. Unfortunately too many franchised businesses are only a means of generating capital for the franchisor. In those circumstances the value is in the contract detail.

I think the Weed Man (‘one of the worlds fastest growing lawn care businesses..’) has been smoking not cutting the grass judging by the result of my Google search for them.
