Fat or Fatter Betty

An interesting trademark fight is developing over ‘Fat Betty®’ savoury biscuits from Tockwith and ‘Bettys®‘ the North Yorkshire tearooms group.

You need money to defend trademarks and patents so consider I P legal insurance such as  www.reactinsurance.com/trade-mark-insurance.htm.

With acknowledgment to both web sites, for a balance diet I have included a second image. Results of this bun fight will be served up later.

Who’ll Eat All The Pies

Four years learning the Pie Trade as an own-label supplier led to Higgidy’s brand launch by Ziggurat Brands last year. This sound base has led to rapid growth and annual consumption of 3 million pies.

Perhaps John Prescott could be a brand ambassador but like other family firms they needs to keep their mince pies on the bread.
